How to Spot a Fake Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works body mists

How to Spot a Fake Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works body mists

With so many of them being offered around and sometimes at temptingly cheap prices, how can we be sure if they are authentic? Read these following tips that I got from ardent users of the products:

Origin
So far, VS and BBW have no other stores located outside US and Canada so for the scent to be authentic, it really has to be made in the US.

Packaging
VS scents have a sticker at the bottom of the bottle with a barcode and a price while BBW scents have the barcode and price at the rear label.

Smell
Authentic VS and BBW scents’ really last longer while the fake ones easily fade away in a few minutes and sometimes you can hint a touch of alcohol in them.

Shake Test
If you think that your seller isn’t being directly honest with you about the source of her scents and if you aren’t familiar with their packaging and smell, try this simple but tested method. Shake the bottle. If the bubbles last for only 1-2 seconds, it’s original. But if it stays for more than 3 seconds, it’s fake.
